Enabling Technologies Group is happy to announce the availability
of their latest version of the ARPUS/ce editor.  "ce" is a
full-screen, X-Windows based editor that provides easy-to-use
text editing across a variety of UNIX platforms including:  IBM
AIX, Hewlett-Packard HP-UX, Sun SunOS & Solaris, HP Apollo
Domain/OS, DEC OSF/1 & Ultrix, SGI IRIX, and Linux.  Developed
originally for users migrating from Apollo's Domain environment,
ce was modeled after the Display Manager editor.  ETG has
incorporated the features of the DM editor that Apollo users
liked best with new features that truly make ce hard to beat.

To get a free evaluation copy, simply do an anonymous FTP to:

ftp.std.com
cd to /ftp/vendors/ETG
get the README file for detailed instructions
get the appropriate ce evaluation file for your platform. 

The eval. files normally expire 30-60 days from the time you download
them.  There is a fully functional ce file for the Linux platform
in this directory that has no expiration.  It is a FREE copy.
