LoBoS hardware

LoBoS makes a wide variety of modern hardware available to participating researchers. The current list of hardware is:

  • 88 nodes with 2 Xeon 3.06 GHz 800 MHz front-side bus Xeons and 2 GB of RAM (from LoBoS 5)

  • 24 nodes with 2 Xeon 2.66 GHz 800 MHz front-side bus Xeons and 2 GB of RAM (from LoBoS 5)

  • 52 nodes with 2 dual-core AMD Opteron 275 (2.2 GHz) and 4 GB of RAM (part of LoBoS 6)

  • In production soon! 76 nodes with 2 quad-core 2.33 GHz, 1333 MHz front-side bus Clovertowns and 8 GB of RAM (part of LoBoS 6)

LoBoS also has two master nodes, a dual 2.8 GHz Xeon with 2 GB of RAM and a dual dual-core Opteron 275 system with 16 GB of RAM. All LoBoS system have access to over 20 TB of shared online file storage.
