Pulse of LoBoS2


Each of LoBoS' nodes send a 'heartbeat' to the master nodes at a regular interval. The presence (or absence) of the heartbeat and its contents provide a real-time pulse of LoBoS' health and utilization. Pressing "Update" will refresh the display with up-to-the-minute data. LoBoS status may be monitored with either a logical or a physical display of the system. The logical display reflects the machine's ring topology. The physical display shows the actual arrangement of the nodes, hubs and switches in the machine room. Audio and visual alarms occur when any node or link fails (and the two options are set). LoBoS users have the option of an automatic refresh of the display.
