LoBoS 4 Configuration
STATUS:
In use.
Lobos4 was delivered from
SoftHard Systems in August of 2002. However, the cluster was not fully operational until several months later. Several problems had to be overcome, such as heat related issues from the AMD processors and the power consumption of the new machines. After improving ventilation and dispersing the power distribution, the system was up and running. Recurring problems include burnt out power supplies, which are less frequent but still occur.
